Gold panning in NC

[flash11569]

Hey all! I want to learn how to pan for gold to keep busy on the weekends. Anyone in the Raleigh/Durham NC area willing to show me how? Thanks, Jon.

There are good videos on youtube that show you how to use a pan properly. I am in Mayberry NC and bought a couple pans after I found a large area of black sand down by the creek but haven't taken the time to pan it yet. Thanks for reminding me, lol!!!
