gold panning trinity CA

has anyone ever been to a place called rivers and redwoods they do watere rafting rapids on class 3 to 4 rapids i tlk to one of the rangers there and they said you can find gold there and are allowed to pan for it has anyone ever been there?

I've been in the Trinity area several times and it is hot mountains, trees, rivers, reservoirs and such. Class 3 to 4 water is bad stuff! There are at least two fellas here on Tnet from the area and I would expect them to chime in here any moment.

lol well i would love to go kayaking rapids lol that be the highlight of day besides finding gold but first thing first get the the out of NJ i cant stand it here and my closest GPAA group is like a hour and half away from me
