Gold ring and a cool mariners cross at the park

Hit an old park this morning. Found a few neat items. About $5.00 in clad. A 14K gold Capricorn ring, diamond stud earing (fake?) A junk ring and a cool old anchor & cross necklace. The anchor is marked 14K on the back but has a dark pateana? Maybe it was plated?

Great finds. I've seen that exact cross on T-Net before. If I recall correctly they, someone found a link to them being sold on line. It is a mariners cross.

Sure does not look like gold unless like you thought it was gold plated. Then the 14K would have been done to deceive.

I found a large 925 sterling mariner cross like this a 6 weeks or so back.
And then a tiny 14K one about a month ago.
Yours is really nice, a superb find!
Outstanding finds, all of them. Hope it's gold. Get it checked by a jeweler.
