Hey everyone !
I got out for two hunts this weekend . Yesterday my Son Carson and I met up with EAGLEFORCE , Ryan , and hunted a local school that Ryan has been making some great finds ! As we were hunting the field Ryan noticed that piles of grassy dirt was piled up on the far side . We all went over and had a closer look . It looks like a scraped grass from another school field ! Before you knew it my son and Ryan were digging in the piles looking for coins and jewelery ! They were finding coins just from shaking the old grassy dirt ! My son found parts of a watch but no jewelery was found . I took some great pictures of them playing in the dirt
. We all came away with a bunch of clad after about 3 hours . I also found two wheats & a 1959 penny .
This morning my Son and I went north of San Jose about 45 minutes and hunted a old school that we had not been to before . It turned out great ! I found 5 wheats all around 7-9 inches deep ! The oldest being a 1935 . The two best finds were a 925 silver San Tommaso pendent and a nice 14K gold ring with a single diamond
! It's number 96 for the year . Other finds were a 1959 penny , a few Foreign coins and some junk jewelery . Total clad for the two days is $25.43 !
I plan on going back to that school with my 12 inch coil and find some deep silver !
