Gold with the Etrac

I have been using the Etrac for a fairly long time and I have never found any gold jewelry with it. It is probably me, but I looking for suggestions as to how to improve my gold digs. Curious to see how others have been doing using the Etrac. L4S silver count is great, would be interesting to have a gold count.

In the two years I've been detecting, I've only found 6 gold items with my E-Trac. You have to dig your 12/27's, numbers that bounce around in that range, the low 12/02-09's, and low to mid 12/30's to get the bigger gold items. You will dig a lot more pull tabs, beavertails, canslaw and zincolns, but at least you're rewarded with some shiny once in awhile.

Digging those beaver tails will get old fast but as soon as you
find gold it will be worth the work.
