GOLD!

Got your attention didn't I? OK, no gold rings but I did manage to find 2 new gold dollar coins this morning.

I also found a nice "Zippo" lighter which I do not think has been there very long. It is pretty clean and works just fine.

Adding to that was 68 cents in clad and a metal decoration of some kind. I have no idea what the almost round thing is. It rang up as a dime but even using the magnifying glass I cannot see a 'dime'.

My total for this morning was $2.68. I'll take it!

Mumsize,

Check your dollar coins for the "P" mintmark. On the Van Buren dollar coins the "P" ended up looking like a "D" which means they are worth a premium to collectors.

been so long since I have seen it. Ofcourse I haven't been getting out much and the very few times I did its been slim pickings, but I glad to see you are finding stuff.
