Last I checked this is still America, or at least what is left of it.

We used to have the freedom to live how we wanted. If the wife and I want to live is a cabin in the woods with no electricity or running water then that is our prerogative and we should be left the hell alone. Same as this guy, he wanted to stay working the mine, so be it, enjoy and lots of gold to him.

Problem now is too many "do-gooders" think they know how everybody else should be living and how they should be doing it. We would be so much better off if everyone would just mind their own damn business and worry about what they are doing.
