First Gold nugget Well- found my first gold nugget while hunting a permission - just about the last dig of the hunt - hunting with my CTX-3030 - got my heart pumping pretty good - did not place a coin by it to show size but it is about the size of a dime and as thick as a nickel - Looks like it may have been melted in a fire - may have been a piece of jewelry at one time - first significant gold find since I found a gold tooth - LOL

I'll bet that was a quarter eagle once upon a time. You should test the weight and purity.
