Today I found a large heavy 14K wedding band, an 1844 Large Cent and a 1919-s and 47-d wheat penny. The gold ring gave me the same junk reading I got just a foot back from it, but this time it wasn't a thing-a-majiggy. I thought about skipping it. The Large Cent was in area I had already hit, except this time I got back a bit further under the Paw-paw trees.

Mona Lisa, I'm hunting at an 1840 farm right up from work. I go there at lunch time and an hour or two after work, weather permitting. So far; 1844 and 1853 large cents, 1866 2-cent, 1864, 1869, 1881 indian heads and numerous wheats, tags and tokens. Today I found the first silver piece ;D, a nice 1941 merc and also found a 24-s and 53-d wheat. Thanks

Neat digs!!

Nice day worth of finds.

I've had days like that. I'd be digging tabs left and right and then all the sudden find a wedding band. You just never know.

I bet the picture doesn't do that Large Cent Justice. It looks to be in great shape. You had a great day - old and gold. ;D ;D ;D
