at Rogers Trading Co.... found this today while detecting with my buddy AirForce1.
I tried looking the company on line and could not find anything. The token is made of aluminum and is quite a bit bigger than a quarter. The British Penny is the closest thing I've found to a large cent. I found it two weeks ago. I am beginning to think there aren't any coppas in NM.

That is in good shape. Most aluminum tokens that I find are not that nice.

They used to be on Stranton Avenue in El Paso, downtown. Hubby grew up there and when I told him about your trade coin he told me that and they are no longer there.

Thanks for the information Soul Dancer!! When I pulled it out of the ground it was covered in black dirt and I thought it was a silver dollar, but I was wrong. Anyways, I am pleased on finding a bit of history
