Good lead on a site...

Went to a ski? slope an old guy in my scout troop once told me of, he said they use to ski there in the 20's and 30's so I figured its worth a try. I dindt get many signals but I did pull these two beautys a 1917 type 1 and 1918 SL quarter in about as good a shape as they come from the same hole.

Thanks for the replies, Ya i was shocked to find them all the others I found were worn, these must have been dropped about 1918. Type 1 means her boobs showing right? It is on the 1917 one anyway. haha I dont know how else to put it. Any idea what the value on them is? I cant find my coin book plus its about 15 years old anyway. I wish I could detect the actual hill but its off limits, this was found on the top of the hill just outside were the actual slope is, other then these two coins I didnt get much else.

Hey John im in the Philly area. I havnt done anything to them but rinse them under water, theres still some dirt around the letters but i dont want to use a toothbrush or anything till I find out the best way.

haha sure, but im thinking the site was either detected or not used much, i spent hours detecting and only found these and a merc the time before. Im researching a rev war site now, Im more into colonial stuff then modern but i'll take these.

Man those are two gorgeous coins there bud!! Good lord that slope is probably just loaded with loot, a place like that could keep a guy (or gal) busy for years.
