Short and sweet: did $1000 this week. Found 2 x 1974D doubledies, 1 x 1960D Franklin, 6 x 1964s and 42 40%ers. There are some ugly halves in this batch. Also, between the 2 bags, I found exactly 1 roll each of 2003 P & D halves. So, I dont need to look for those anymore. Haha.

Do the '74 double dies have much value? Where specifically is the doubling?

Show us a close up of the DD's! ;D I haven't found a single one yet..... :(

I would take photos of it, but otherwise folks and have done it before with much better results. And my camera doesnt like close ups of small objects. As far as doubling...well, I still dont fully understand what the different types of doubling are, nor how they occur, even though Ive read about both more than once. However, the 1974D double die occurs noticeably on the "RUST" of "IN GOD WE TRUST." I find it easiest to look for them by holding the coin rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise (so that JFK is looking at the floor), and with my lightsource coming from behind me and the left. I have a hard time catching the doubling if I look at the coin normally.

http://www.numismedia.com/coinguys/top50kenn.shtml That website gives you a good view of what the doubledies look like. I searched through about $8000 dollars before I really knew what I was looking for, and now the 74DDs come quick. Good luck!
