Well after I got out and ran a bunch of errands this morning. I went to a different creek. The other was muddy from yesterday’s pour down we had. This creek drains off fast and is spring fed way upstream. The water was clear enough to see the huge snapping turtle in the last picture. It’s in the upper right prolly weighed 50 lbs I didn’t score any beautiful points but the pottery and the Heartbreak Turkey Tail Harrison is a good sign of something washing out. I didn’t find much in this creek last year. Seems like I find something different in age every trip. The oldest being a Hardaway Palmer a couple of years ago.

That turtle is massive
Yes and I was standing 15 feet away lol. It’s neck was big as my ankle in roundness made me glad I wear heavy duty boots. There was no shortages of snakes jumping in. I hope he eats a few.
