Good Variety of Buttons, and a Surprise Find!!

Well we hit two sites and I managed a variety of buttons. Flats, pewter, tombac, 2 piece, and ball. The pewter button has a nice design on it, could not see it in the field at all. The surprise find, I'll let you figure it out :wink:.

Well, I know its not that. At the Opposite end of the button, it has teeth for holding somthing special.

Hmm.. didn't something like this get posted before?? People were saying roach clip I think?? ;-) but it was for collers?? or cuffs?? something to do with late 1800s men fashion...

I have heard that too, but it is not from the late 1800's. The Earliest PAT. date on it is 1975. So it could be a newer version of that, but I don't know.
