got a hunt in today- Most proofs ever, and joined the 70 ken club(pics added)

I went around the town and picked up some halves and dimes. Got around $1350 all together. I think I got right around $850 in halves. This is my first big hunt of the year, had to wait for tax money after getting new tires a while back.
I didn't have time to search as I went, and then dump since I was pinched for time. I will have to search all of them tonight. At the last bank I went to though, one of the rolls split open so I searched that one right away. It seems like I may have gone to the right bank. Out of the 1 roll, I got a 64 ken, a 67 ken, and a bunch of proofs and NIFC. Got a 1999s, 2000s, 2001s, 2006s, 2007s, and there were the same years for p and d also. So I'm hoping in the rest of those rolls there is a jackpot. I can't wait to see. Will post as soon as I know, keep your fingers crossed for me guys, this could be a good one.

ok guys, haven't had a chance to post pics yet, will do tomorrow. I hit someone's collection. I got 13 silvers, including some proof silvers, and the 70S and 70D. I about hit the floor when I saw those. And I got about 30 clad proofs as well, only 2 or 3 are a little impaired. The rest of them look brilliant. Proofs ranged in years from 68 all the way through 2007. I'm at work right now, so I'll be able to give exact dates, and post pics soon. I also hit my first 87 P and D, the only years of NIFC I didn't have yet. The dimes produces 4 silvers, including a merc. May not be a ton of silver but I'd say I did pretty good, considering I only spent 7 bucks in gas. My best hunt this year, can't wait to get pics on here for u guys to see. I probably tripled my proof have collection, crazy.

thanks guys, this hunt has me wanting to up the weekly search. I've had a very slow year due to my funds. I feel like I'm going to hit it pretty hard each week now that I have some hunting money. It felt good, especially to find sooo many coins that I didn't have yet, even if most are just proofs. I will post pics sometime tomorrow, Happy hunting all.

Proofs (or SMS) prior to 1968 had no mintmark on them, so the 1963 dime could be a proof.

Thanks Gman, I didn't know that. I'm sure that it is a proof then. My first dime proof ever I believe.

Mountainman, glad you liked the pics. It was my best outing this year so far, but I haven't been at it like I was last year yet. I need to get out there more and find the goods.
