I try to verify they are silver (I'll pick at the edge a little - some the crust wil break off with just a rub)
- I used to clean them by electrolysis all the time - got tired of ending up with silver
razor blades - I have a coffee table with glass that has display boxes built in - silver for the last 4-5 yrs goes in there
so now a days I just throw it in there as is - even if I got a key date - gonna come out like crap - plus I can show people that come over
how silver comes out of saltwater
I can always clean them down the road if I get bored

Nice collection of silvers:occasion14:,,HH

Hello Casper,I noticed you are all set up for snorkling...Have you ever considered a hooka diving system ? They have a few different types,,just curious,tc

Casper I used to have the same problem when cleaning silver with electrolysis,You need a one and a half volt battery charger like from cell phone.
Take a look at my yesterdays post on beach and shallow water, you'll see 5 coins that I cleaned with my new way of electrolysis, this new way I learned
from surfnturf and I would like to share it with you.You can clean a coin in two minates doing it the new way, I use to use a dfx battery charger and was cooking my coins,
PM me and I'llshare the info with you. Also not to forget great bunch of silver finds.

I actually got hundreds into using snorkel & masks while water hunting and got a lot into getting hookahs
I have owned a hookah for yrs - just dont use it (I been doing good in my snorkel range - when it runs out will go deep )
again)
- I own a snuba system too - take it with me alot - but once again - if Im hitting it in my snorkel range - why go deep - that stuff will be there for me down the road
read my article - when youre bored

That's a nice amount of silver!

I also use the snorkel and mask, since I started this summer with the water hunting, and I don't even have a scoop, I use my foot to clean the sand away, and have found gold and silver! I love to see the targets, the fish, the dropped sunglasses, some of the trash I pick up...
I wear a thin wet suit and about 6 pounds of lead on a diving belt, and it really makes a difference! Keeps me down specially when I'm chin deep, but in all depths is also helpful.

Thanks for sharing Don
