Got some great things this weekend. Need help.

I bought four B&W photos. Marilyn Monroe, Lucy Ball, Jane Russell and someone I have seen before but can't remember who she is. I am sure she was a silent movie star or early 1930's.
Need help IDing her.

Because the other pics are so good I will post them too. Going on feeBay pretty soon. I can not find the exact pose for MM on the internet, pretty rare?

Thank you, you are definately correct. I looked thru every photo I could find and I could not find that exact one. Found one where she was wearing the same cape but a different pose. Must be rare.

That is a match. must have been a photo shoot. She was some gal in her time. A real partygirl, I would not bring her home to meet my mother (might my dad tho) She was the paris hilton of her time, only she had class and talent. I saw some of her short movies yesterday.

I didn't find the exact photo of Marilyn, but it reminded me of the movie, The Seven Year Itch, so I googled it, and amidst the classic blowing skirt pose, I found this one of her co-star on the same sofa she's perching on. That should help you out some.

I didn't think it was Marilyn either until Tigger showed the same couch in the above post. I was gonna suggest it was a look alike or wannabe but I gotta go with it being Marilyn now.

I have a copy of Vue magazine from 1955 and the cover has what I thought was Marilyn Monroe on it. She even has the beauty mark. But it is Carol Blake, a pin up girl from that era. Here is that magazine -

I found a different pose with her in same outfit, same set, but it was "pinned" and I never did find the original site or who the photographer is. It's definitely Marilyn on the set of Seven Year Itch tho.

most of these B&W shots go for $10 ea. if at all. (I once had to list 99 of GET SMART several times before she sold)

I think I will list all 4 as a goddess combo + 1 clown
