We've had a lot of rain lately that has spoiled many attempts to go detecting. This time of year it's too hot to go after 10:00 AM to you must go early. Monday I got up at 5:00 AM and got my gear ready and out the door by six. The weather forecast was for a 40% chance of severe thunderstorms. So, I scanned the sky in all directions and off to the north I saw this! So, I went back into the house and poured another cup of coffee. Monty :help: .

If you don't perceive that to be a pair of unicorns I would have taken this as a sign that I needed to
watch my house for strangers visiting while I am gone . ;D

These formations are commonly known as international directional clouds
