Trust me.. there are park rangers out there who will volunteer to watch out for MDers in the parks.. at least around here. They also have radar type thingys attached to antennas in the park that can pick up MD frequencies...

The last guy who got caught MDing in the battlefield around here got 3 years in prison and $58,000 fine... Another one got 1 year in prison and $30,000 fine... No relic is worth it... Back in the 70s and early 80s you just got asked to leave, now they want your soul in prison... Park rangers around here can be buzz kills.

as to being a camper next to our camp on Lynx Creek. After hearing our conversation he identified
himself and was gone when we got up the next day.

The local FS hellb%#&@* sicced the NPS on us after they could not find us in violation of their regs.
This was after my buddy had talked to her before we even left home asking where we could camp
and pan. She sweet talked him into thinking everything was kopasetic. We no sooner made camp
before two 'agents' stormed in looking for motorized equipment. Finding none the bully one accused
us of cutting down a tree. The other one, a female, looked at the tree and saw we could not have
cut it. Next day two different females showed up acting friendly but clearly not miners. After that
the NPS guy showed up with a camper to finalize the investigation.

These people are not your friends.

Nope, mostly butt heads with egos that make them feel important and all powerful. Nobody is supposed to do nothing on the land, it's supposed to go back to nature, and people aren't part of their nature.

Wow I'm glad the park rangers aren't like that around here. They just wave and keep going. Got busted when I was younger smoking dope fishing lol guy said he watched us for an hour within arms reach before my buddy about pissed on him and he spoke up.

I don't see why the parks are closed you have to pay to enter. So why not do like the boat ramps do here just put a box up? I think it's a big game to the gov to do stuff like this. If your a republican and you convince people to hate then then they will vote for you or vice versa. If you make them hate the whole gov then people won't vote besides your supporters and you win. Just like with the sending to any countrys, the gov lines their pockets by using buddies or having other official get the jobs. Then they turn that public funds into private cash. Example foreign spending in Iraq. Most senators and congressmen have a stake in a defense company, so they take give Iraq billions of dollars for defense weapons. Then send their companies over to contract or they false flag start wars and convince the Iraq goverment to contract these services from this company. They are basically stealing legally from the United States since its tax dollars funding these wars lol. They stick their hands in the cookie jar all they want without ever doing anything "illegal". The rich are rich for a reason,

With national forest land all around us here in Summit County it's not really goin to affect much of anything. A couple of campgrounds closed, but they usually close up this time of year anyway. We can still camp on forest service land. BLM did make it a point to let the local papers know law enforcement would still be going on as usual, so my hopes of a big arrowhead hunting trip up in Middle Park are dashed.

they shut down all picnic areas and camp sites on state park and lake i live on and sent all rangers home, no green men anywhere, so i went to corp of enginers that controls the lake, there was only the head ranger there I ask if my permit was revolked? he said yes but go ahead and hunt, the gates are locked so you gotta walk in and if any one says anything tell them to call me here at COE. so i went hunting this morning parked at gate and before i got out my MD, a state police pulled up and ask me to disperse, lol i said no disrespect but call ranger at COE, he did and said good luck and drove away. on my way home the same State cop pulled me over.. WAD!!! no ticket given he just had to strut some. im going back tommorrow if COE will give me permission again..
