Ok all,
My brother and I went back to the site this morning and systematically searched the are we're we hit the most bullets.
We managed another 14 bullets....hunted that partucular part of site empty.
That gives us a GRAND TOTAL of :
164 for four days of hunting!!!!
I missed my goal of 200....I know there is a lot more to find.....next time.
This truly was the best, most exciting, amazing and educational hunt in my detecting life.
1) I got to take my brother on his very first hunt...and what hunt it was.
2)Hunted with my oldest daughter and got her and her boyfriend hooked. They called a little while ago and informed me they just bought an Garrett Ace 250 and Detector Pro Pistol Probe based on my recommendation to get started....how cool is that.
3)Also got my stepson his 1st bullet and more into the hobby.
I can't wait to see what will top this.
Here is a picture and video of all the finds minus the ones my children kept.
By the way we found a huge pick ax head....(my very last fund).....it is dated from that time period and hand forged...amazing!!!!!
Thank you all that have left posts and recommendations.
HH and I hope you all get a find like this one day.
