While on a scouting mission I noticed a grass lot behind an old school. The first hunt produced one wheat. I went back with Merf and we had much better luck the second time around. I found four silvers including this beautiful 1894-O barber quarter (my first). I also found a 1940 merc, a 1957 rosy, and a 1962 WASHINGTON quarter. Merf found a sweet 1800's worlds fair Paris token and some other goodies. We will be going out again today, wish us luck!

I think you mean Washington Quarter. Nice silver.

Terrific Finds ! I hope that lot is large and gives it up for a while - looking forward to seeing
your next days finds ! Argentium.

Nice! :headbang: I can only hope for a day like that!

nice hit on the variety of silvers, love to see the Toke too!!!...

good finds, must be a rare quarter if jefferson was on it!

I heard that the grass is silveryer on the other side. You found it!! DFW

Look at your '57 Rosey dime photos. Looks like DDO (Double Die Obverse) in LIBERTY, motto and date. Or my blood sugar is catching up to me.
