Grassy areas of strip malls

I work at Starbucks, and I'm the closing manager. I know when I leave there is no one in the strip mall until 4 am. Does anyone have any experience with the grassy or landscaped areas of strip malls? Would it be worth my while to hunt them?

Anything is worth a shot unless its fenced off then its been traveld, I mean if it crosses ur mind, its not posted go for it u never know till u turn on ur machine & sweep

The ones I've hunted had LOTS of targets. About half good and half junk. If you're after old coins, find another site to hunt. The areas right next to a parking spot can be good for jewelry too.
