Great day with a great bunch of guys

Searched an old homestead with Vino and friends. Got some buttons, an 1826 half cent, and a 10k ring that weighed in at 9.3 grms.

I can't believe you so casually mentioned those buttons....those are awesome! Very nice 1/2 cent and beautiful chunk of gold!

I know most would not agree, but seeing gold pop up is a great feeling, Rick, we should call you ringy, how many is that now?

That was my fourth ring in the last month. Three were not precious metal. Today's ring was my sixth gold ring in 2 1/2 years.

[worldtalker]

Ring ain't to shabby either.

GOD Bless

As well as a nice group hunt, you managed 2 really nice finds.

A couple of those buttons have what I'd call unusual shanks, much wider than any I can recall ?

Congrats on the ring, and half cent.

[leviathanrick]

Thanks everyone. Great hunt with great people. It doesn't get any better.

[Old Dude]

Are those initials on the ring?

[dig kzoo]

[46Wheat]
