Howdy Dob...it's warmer today but the ground is still like concrete.
I attempted detecting today. Went to a close park, got a signal...knife went into the ground about a quarter inch....and that was all she wrote. Nights still in 20's and days not nearly warm enough to thaw things.
I think we're a tad warmer here in the Burg that you are....but not by much.
Good luck and let us know how things go for ya.

Welcome from the Philly area! I got out yesterday for about 3 hours and it sure was muddy. Really looked forward to getting out today as I knew the weather was supposed to be great. Well I got up and felt like crap so I spent the day in bed. I'm so disappointed at missing one of the few nice days we will probably have in Feb.
Found yesterday: 6 Quarters, 5 dimes, 3 nickels, 15 pennies and a wheatie (1944). Not too bad I guess.
