Great Southern Beach Shootout 2008

Hey folks,
I just got back from GSBS 2008 in Daytona Beach. This was my first organized hunt and man, did I have a blast! I didn't win any detectors or win any of the other prizes (and there were plenty). I did, however, get to participate in 6 seeded hunts scheduled on Fri, Sat and Sun. Here's some pics, I'll post more when I get a chance.

It was a pleasure to meet you both at the hunt.

That was my second year in a row at the shootout and I too plan to be back next year, Good Lord willing.
It was indeed a blast!

Great slide show! I am forwarding your link to members of my club- Gold Coast Treasure Coast and to the South Florida Treasure Hunting Club.

I gather you didn't hunt since you have so many pictures of hunters in the field.

No I'm not much of a hunter even though I keep trying. But I do love my pictures and I tend to go waaaaay overboard when taking them. I am not a very good photographer either but I take a lot so I eventually get a few good ones.

I love seeing pictures like that. I wish I was able to get there to enjoy the fun. It's great to see the youngsters getting involved in the hobby. It's a great family event. Thanks agagin for the pictures. I'll have to look at the other 815 you've posted.
