New to this site. I am a member of a few others and recognize a few people. My main hunting is underwater while diving. My name is Robert. I am retired and spend a lot of time detecting. I have a pretty wide assortment of unique finds that many in the states don't get a chance to find. When I am not underwater I am somewhere on land with my E-trac.

I don't mind showing my finds but I enjoy helping others with this great hobby. I will share all my knowledge and experience with anyone. I know sometimes I come across wrong. I mean to help only. Do I care if anyone takes my advice? Of course not. However a lot of detectorists leave some great finds in the ground.

I have been water hunting since about 2002. I drowned two high end land detectors while wading and learned my lesson. I hope my experience and my finds will be welcome here.

Here I am with a drop tank to a P-51 Mustang I found last spring and pulled out of lake St. Clair MI.

You might get the idea of some of the strange finds I recover.

Hi from Mi. I'm in Clinton Twp and used to fish Salmon under the Blue Water Bridge many nights in the Spring
I am new to MDing, nice to meet you

Very cool find!

Welcome.

Here is a great book about a treasure diver in Nova Scotia.

Hello Robert:hello: from one diver to another. Welcome to the madness.

Dennis

Dennis, Are you the one I talk to at Poor Man's beach?

Thanks for the replies. Hope to see a few more divers out. As long as you are taking pictures and not detecting!

I used to live in Kimball. I built the last house on the left on Howard road past the park. Nice to meet you. Retired also.

I posted some of my strange and best finds under the best finds heading. I think you can see all the pictures in my photobucket from there. None of my albums are private. Thank you. I do get some pretty strange things!

Awesome that was in St. Clair, wow. Couldn't have been very deep.

Actually no it wasn't. They think the winter ice brought it in to a popular beach. It was in wading water where out drives could hit it. The marina hooked it to a work boat (pictured against sea wall) and had a forklift haul it out. My old boat is out behind me.

Welcome from NE Ohio.
