Hi all from Carson City. Just getting started in metal detecting. Kids got me a bounty hunter tracker 4 for christmas. Still trying to learn the settings on it and the wheres and where nots to go.
Happy hunting!

Howdy and welcome to Tnet!

I have a Bounty Hunter Tracker IV as well and I use it quite often. It is the only detector that I use with Discrimination - I grab it when I want to double-check the area I've detected with other detectors. I usually end up finding more coin.

Here's a picture of where I set mine. I have not come off these settings since using the BH TK4.

The DISC/NOTCH is a bit hard to see - it is set right at 5/8 and the Sensitivity is set at almost 3/4.

Good luck to you and HH!

Cheers.
