Remember last time? When I mentioned God laughing? I think I might need to be more careful about what I am saying out there, ALL the time!

Nice little constitutional today. Not a whole lot of good finds but plenty enough to keep it interesting. I was trying a new place today.





Dunno about this button. Modern coat button? Is that gilt?



One whole wheat, lightly toasted.

So, I was at my wits end trying to figure out this new place. Nothing seemed to work and the day was getting long. I looked up at the sky and said, "OK Lord. I give up. The rest of the hunt is yours. Take me wherever you want me to go.

The VERY NEXT hit after I said that?






A nine dime pocket spill! Same hole, nine dimes!
(somebody didn't eat lunch that day! )

Just a little while later?

I complained that I was getting tired and wasn't sure I could make it
back to my car.

That's when this ride showed up!



Now THAT ride, looks just as fast coming as it does going! LOL



I didn't find anything new for Blingie, but I think he's still happy.

Really?! I would've figured this was just some knock off from a modern coat. The back looks as if it rusted away, or shattered. Never seen a design like that on anything.

I've always had a "silent" partner but He does seem to be getting a little more to the forefront lately. LOL

This "new" place is showing a bit of some promise. I'm very sure it's been hunted before. (That never bothers me, )
The button looks like it might actually be old and the piece next to the little knife is a bullet. Might be a modern deer slug or it might be something
a bit older. Kind of has my interest.

Maybe HE is trying to hint at me here.

Being Pagan, I give offerings to the land and ask the Great Spirit and the spirits of the land to help me find the stuff left by the Europeans. I might need to be a bit more specific and say the ancient Europeans, because all I've been finding has been 20th century. lol

You might have more fortune if you ask the Great Spirit for his guidance and not for things. HE is a great spirit! I trust in his judgement to find things HE wants me to find. Ya know? I may not understand, but "I" don't have to understand. Just trust.

Correct whatdidifind, the Great spirit, the God and Goddess aren't interested in materialistic things.

I leave it at "stuff" because even though I'm not finding salable stuff, it's still interesting. I like researching stuff and learning about the finds.

If it's in my soil, I want it out so it's not a potential hazard when we play in the yard. I've found so many nails, pieces of rebar, tin and aluminum cans, and glass of all kinds. I'll wake the yard a long time and never find it all.
