Just kidding I took everyones advise and after doing some quick looking bought this on ebay. Hope it was a good choice. I like the idea of just wearing the pants if I don't want to go deep. Knowing nothing about them I hope I got a good deal, I got it for $41.00

COMP MENS WETSUIT - top & bottom

6 mil top and 6 mil bottom can been worn separately

or together which creates a 12 mil suit over the mid section.

The top is a XXL and the bottom is a XL -

these two sizes fit together well.

The top has long sleeves and short legs &

the bottom has long legs and no sleeves.

The suit has been used a couple of times but in still in very good shape.

Looks like a good deal to me. Good luck.

Bill...Good deal my man....If you decide to sell that suit for one reason or another....keep me in mind....give you 50 bucks and shipping....some people find 6mm too hot and restrictive....but i'd love to try a heavier suit....Rdi

I have a wet suit like that but its 3mm and 3mm. I only wear it if I am going to dive all day and if it is really cold, like in the mid 60s or below. I havent had to wear it yet this year and wont since its back up to about 70 now. I usually wear a 1 piece 3mm and this winter that was all I needed. For water detecting, you will need some weight on your weight belt. It will keep you warm possibly too warm since yours is 6mm and 6mm, but when its cold, you will be able to hunt all day. Another month and it will be warm enough to not use a wetsuit at all. Oh a tip to put on a wetsuit. Get a cheap bottle of hair conditioner. Lather your skin up, legs, arms, chest etc with it. It will slip on, and it will slip off easier. Its very rough out there right now, and has been for a couple days, should be good hunting. Another tip-the wetsuits with the slick inside-such as titanum, gold lined etc, are twice as warm as a wetsuit with nylon or material lining. And dont wear any shirts or stuff, just shorts or bathing suit. I just wear underwear. The clothes will make you colder.

Good price, although you will probably find the top too hot for florida most times. I have one that is 3 mm and like yours, long sleeve shortie and farmer john bottoms, together its 6mm. When I wear both top and bottom in water and water is cold (Atlantic), I am warm, but if I am not over waist deep or I get out of the water, I get hot many times, and unfortunately I am a usually a ways from my detector mobile so I cant just take it off.

Good luck and good hunting........

Thanks everyone for the input, I think I will probably end up just wearing the pants as I am not planning on going that deep and I think they will work that way. At least if I have to wear the top I can. Thanks for all the tips...
