Half Dollar Box - Strange Days, Indeed

[blueberra]

Latest box : 1 40% silver and 3 impaired proofs.

Tally after 9 boxes : 1 90%, 8 40%, and 7 impaired proofs.

What's up with all of those S mints?

Somebody must have dumped a load of impaired proofs in your area.

[TheMastermind]

I've been getting a lot of proofs as well lately, one of my skunk boxes from last week had something like 30+.

[Megalodon]

Does anyone save or collect these impaired proofs? Not knowing what to do with them, I set them aside, but they are adding up. Almost too pretty to toss in the reject box...

[TheWalrus]

We Save them, I have a bunch of Scouts working on Merit badges and they are good for intro to coin collecting, as well as little reward tokens.

[weighit]

I was listing them on Craig's List for $15 per roll, sold many rolls that way. Now just give them out as tips, they make a good impression because they are so shiny looking.
