Hammered shilling and a cob, need help with ID!!!!!

Well reseach paid off! Found a sweet little honey hole! Posted on today's find a week ago and Crusader helped to ID the Charles 1 hammered shilling 1625-1649!!!! incredable find my best coin until I scooped the 1/2 real Cob it's now a tie!!!! Anyone help ID the Cob?? Wanted to share with the water and beach hunters check it out!!! Thanks for the input!!! :icon_pi rat:

The 1/2 reale cob, the first 2 pics, is definetly a Mexico mint. I dont know the date range off the top of my head, maybe someone who does can chime in. I will break out my book of cobs, and try. How in the world did anyone ID that smashed coin? It has no identifing marks at all.
 
1/2 cobs are the worst at trying to ID. Definetly a mexican. Maybe PhillipVS? Cant quite figure out the reverse. Maybe an 01? On the smashed/worn coin, have you looked up a Mass. Bay Colony shilling? Sometimes called the Pine Tree shilling. That could be it. And more likely. I still cant see any detail on any of the pics.

Steve thanks for the info! The coin with very little detail is a Charles I shilling, look at today's finds I posted "I think it's a cob 4? 8?"! It's now on page 2 thirty or forty posts down I think there are better pic's w/detail! Again thanks!
