My son drew me this in church this morning, with the hopes of doing a bit of detecting with just dad this afternoon. Jesus first, then family. It's what today is all about! Happy Easter all!!


He says he is digging a 1900's quarter, and saved the 1800's dime for me. Such a thoughtful guy!

Of my three boys, Brody, who drew this, is my favorite hunting buddy. Let's just say this picture earned him the right to "find" his first good signal. A 1907 Indian head penny under a tree in our yard. I have "no idea" how it ended up 2" down in a subdivision built in the 90'S. Let's just say he was beyond excited, and the bug has permanently bit him now.
