My "th" partner, flynndfx40, and I went turkey hunting this morning and afterwards took out detectors to a freshly plowed and disced field that has always been good us over the past 2 years. A few minutes after starting he found a "V" nickel which he will be posting himself. About 30 minutes later I got a solid hit on my XLT and upon digging about 2 1/2" I saw a button I had dug up. At first I thought it was a flat button but saw it was concave. Thinking eagle button I started wiping it of until I saw what it was. It is a William Harrison 1840 campaign button. WOW. My partner has 2 from his same field. We now call it the Harrison field.
