Has anyone used the Detect SSP 5100??

I was wondering if anyone has used this machine as I have purchased it, very strong but a lot to figure out on it! Has anyone had success with it? It's a PI with a magnetometer in it, seems to work pretty well but a lot to figure out on it. If anyone owns one do they have any suggestions for the settings? Hawaii has tons of Hot rocks, so it's hard to get a perfect setting, also dealing with supper high grass in the woods! Hoping to hear from someone that has had success with this! Aloha
