We've gotten hats like the above pictured or similar at Outdoor World.
Maybe there, or a Cabellas, or sporting goods store, will have something doable.
Steve, check maybe even ebay, might can get a deal on a few of them.
I get my booties off ebay, saves me a ton of money.
My hair is down to the bottom of my butt cheeks and my beard reaches my belly button. I wear my hair tied in a pony tail and my beard braided. Neither is much sun protection. Last haircut & shave were in September 1975.
Also consider a buff. I wear them fishing a lot but they can be hot sometimes. Bonus! They also work as a face mask. Another option is a hooded shirt. I have a few lightweight fishing shirts with a hood and also extended sleeves with a thumbhole to keep your wrists covered. Add in some SPF gloves and you're covered. You can also find shirts with a built in buff and or built in buff and hood.
This is what I wear in the Florida sun since I deplore using sunscreen as it ends up in my eyes irritating my contact lenses.

That thing is hideous! It brings shame to the hobby. Only half joking. I prefer a fishing hat that has a snap on either side to snap the brim to the sides. Then the earphones fit right over the top. Heres a shot but only one snap is attached. The waterproof headphones go right over it so I think any phones would. In fact this is a good rundown of the gear. I was detecting and caught this nice rockfish with my bare hands! I think I'll do my own post about it in a sec.
