Hat sugestions

I pretty much always have a ball cap on but I am considering some "other" options to wear while detecting.

What do you all wear while detecting?

Usually a ball cap.

Occasionally a boonie or pork-pie style. When I wear my Rattler I can lift the brim on that side.

Do you use my favorite "Whatcha doing / finding?" response? "Looking for dead bodies.......". BTW Some of the larger surplus stores sell FBI raid jackets to go along with your hat.

I agree, 1972 - 1975, I was going home, got on a plane in N.J., on my way to Boston, I was in uniform, 1 of only perhaps 10 people on the plane, could not even get a cup of coffee.
Could not get a date until my hair grew out. Now I'm bald.(but married)
