Some people will try to tell you it's a Snapped Base Point, but in reality it is just a Point with the base broken off.

tn peaches,i have found one that tom davis said was a snapped base, but this one has the curve that goes in to it.im thinking maybe one found and then reworked, as it looks like old style flaking on it.the ears are not damaged at allnew 004.webp

thanks austin,i like them all i really like the ones where they just did not make it to a point yet.tells me alot about how they do thier reductions

Interesting break. Thought it looked more curved - flake-style- in the first pics. Maybe could have been a short expanded base but broke... weird break- preserving the ears like that. NICE little day you had there- did you find them all? Yakker

Yeah you have a tip there. Nice find. And material.

nice ones jamey

thanks everyone,i think it may be a broken lost lake.

What a heartbreaker! That sure is a unique break and may have broken with force when it hit a bone. Just saying. There had to be a weekness in the material. Beautiful material!

IMHO Looks like a broke "Stillwell" with the serrations and blade shape
