Haven't been out much this summer.

My Mom is starting to get Alzheimer's and I'm slowly moving my possessions to her house and I will live with her and help her. Sooooo I haven't been out much this summer. But I need to detect at times, it's almost like meditation for me. I have to do it to cope.

Anyway..... here's some finds from this summer.



This is from one of the honey holes that seems to be drying up for me. Was a nice surprise to get silver that day!



This is from a new site. It's a very small park, but on an old 1850's map there was a house at this site. Loaded with nails and pull tabs but I managed to find a Barber dime and a no date buffalo!



These are from a house right around the corner from me that Mary and I have hunted a lot. No more good signals to be found at this place, all the signals are iron and lots of it! Went there after I installed the update to the Nox and found these!



Went to one of the parks in town with the new update. Started searching and found about 15 Jefferson nickels and a ton of zincs! Then got this little bracelet marked 325 Italy.

Once I move it would be a 1 hour drive to get to any of these sites. So I probably won't get to hunt them anymore. Might go out later today to meditate.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm going to try to take mom on some metal detecting hunts, maybe with her sister along. My aunt showed an interest in metal detecting so last year I bought her a Minelab Go-Find 20 for Christmas last year. She used it only once due to some health problems she was having. I'll try to get her out this fall.
