oh btw the rumors were wrong, but the truth don't make it any better.

A woman was killed in Northumberland County early Thursday morning when she was struck by a fire truck.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Stonington, the incident occurred on Thursday, July 28th, 2022, around 2:30am.
Troopers say, on Route 147 in Lower Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, Rebecca Wenrich, 66, of Dalmatia walked into the path of a fire truck that was responding to a crash.

Wenrich was struck and killed, and pronounced dead at the scene by Northumberland County Coroner James Kelley.

State Police have not said if charges will be filed against the driver of the fire truck.
