This ring was gorgeous in the hole! I was already composing my post as I finished my dig. Got home and asked my wife if she wanted the honor of cleaning it up to see if it was real, I had only brushed off enough to see a stamp. The dang stamp is NF, I assume means nickel finish(please correct me if you know different). View attachment 1200991 and that nice big, fat stone is plastic
The other stuff includes an old lipstick container with lipstick still in it(smells the same as today's) and the only info I can see so far are the letters B U. A weird copper covered plastic thing with a hole in the middle, button?? or something else? In the inner circle at a 3 o'clock is the number 8, on the outer circle at 9 o'clock is an impressed circle. At first I thought it was the top of a shotgun shell, but it is not solid metal. 2 wheaties, a 1910 and a 1956D.
