Very nice chunk of gold there.

Nice find Southernstyle

What purity is the bracelet? And can you give us frozen northerners some info on where the gold was found (in the sand? or in the water?, and how deep).

Nice Christmas present for sure! :icon_thumright:

the silver ring is nice with the stones. probably tanzanite and opal.

Sorry guys. The bracelet is 14K. It was waist deep. I was told that a guy had lost his really nice watch out in the water yesterday. He rented a mask and snorkel to look for it but never found it. He was on a cruise ship and is now long gone. Unfortunately so is his watch. There are so many people out here during the day swimming and snorkleing, that I'm sure the watch did not totally get covered with sand and someone saw it and scooped it up. I'm not positive, so I will be back to look more. I didn't have any luck on the watch, but it did put me in a spot in the water I don't usually hunt. After about a hour of me hunting and snorkeling around trying to scan as deep as I could. I came a little closer to shore and that's when I heard that beautiful sound of gold. I left the beach this morning telling everyone what I always do when they ask.....Just change and trash, but there's always tomorrow.

Hi Southern,
Great finds. That water just looks great! Hope all is well with you and keep us current with your finds. What were you using for a detector or detectors when you found those pieces?
Kind Regards,
