Heavy 14k bracelet with 54 diamonds,Ben Franklin half, big silver ring" UPDATED"

Started out at 5:30 AM because of the afternoon heat! I decided to stop by the play ground with wood chips that I usually hit every so often. It was still dark and all the lights around the play ground were off for some reason, but I wasn't going to let that stop me. After a half hour into it I got a tin foil reading behind the swings, I moved the chips aside and thought I found a cheap bracelet until later when it got a little more light and the 14k could be seen and also it had 54 diamonds, Woo Hoo!! I wonder how much it is worth? Then it was time to move to the old wood store tear down located by a very old church. I only found a 1928 wheat and a 1920 buffalo nickel at that location. Then I just drove around for a while until I saw an old building with a grass section running around it between the side walk and the street. Thought it would be a good place to try for a silver coin before I quit the hunt. After working almost all the way around the area, I got a silver quarter/half reading. The ground was hard as a rock, so the digging was difficult. After almost having to chisel down 9", a large silver edge appeared, it was a Ben Franklin half 1962D. I did scratch it though >:(. On the way back around to the car, I found a thick/heavy 925 bent up ring. There is a picture before and after I repaired the ring. Thanks for looking!

Tot lots are always fun to detect. Like a box of chocolates...
Before I can truly enjoy my finds from playgrounds, I always peruse the lost and found section of craigslist. You never know when someone has lost an item of such sentimental value that it means more than all the gold in the universe.

But man oh man that is a sweet bracelet!! Also very nice repair on the ring! :icon_thumleft:

Awesome bracelet! Wonder how many grams that baby weighs?
I put it on a gram scale and it said 28 grams or 1 oz if I set it on oz, is that a lot?
A troy ounce is 31.5 grams and sadly they usually don't care if it has diamonds. If you can eBay the item you might get a great price. I vote this is a banner find you have had a very good day.

My wife lost the same exact tennis bracelet about 7 years ago in a parking lot here in Ohio.

I remembered I paid about $340.00 & change (with discount).
The only diffrence was the clasp. She never bothered to go back and look for it.
She also wonders why I won't buy her jewlery anymore.

Great Find!
