HEAVY ROCK, BASALT?

This rock is huge but is much heavier than it looks.. Outside seems to be more of a crust. There's a small hole in one end that can be scratched with a screwdriver and it almost crumbles. Looks to me like it's brown inside. It's grey everywhere but the one end which has a white patch. Also tiny crystals all through it.

Maybe sandstone or something similar?

Thank you! Can sandstone be extremely heavy. I feel like this thing is super heavy for the size.

I can only guess from the pictures. But no, usually sandstone is not extremely heavy.
