Heavy Silver Chain with Video

Howdy all,
I got out for just under 2 hours this mornin and didn't do bad at all. I didn't get the gold this time but I did manage a heavy .925 silver chain. Not my biggest chain ever, but not to shabby either. Most targets in this field were in the top 2 inches, and made recovery super easy. I apologize for the quality of the video. I am still tryin to figure out the camera, and editing. Nice chain and an awesome find. There is only one thing that scared me, I NEVER yank a chain out of the ground like that, not knockin' yer style, but what if it broke into many pieces . I know you would have still had the pieces that would weigh up the same.........NGE

I generally don't just pull a chain out like that. It actually came out easier than it looked. I started to say in the video that I wanted to do as little cutting as possible. But it popped right out. Most chains I find are so wrapped in the roots that they need surgical removal. lol.

nice silver and video! I am sorry I cannot hunt with you until spring break. Had to stay home this weekend to watch the dogs, and then study for 2 hours each day. Bummer. Glad you still got out to detect and had a good time
