Hello, my name is Robert. I'm known as Panning Jack to those that know I prospect. I caught the fever on the south fork of the yuba in California 6 years ago. A buddy of mine hassled me all summer to go with him and kept saying no because I was going fishing. I went fishing about 6 days a week. Since I gave in and went with him I have probably only been fishing about 10 times. I would choose gold over fish any day.

I'm pretty excited to learn more here and I'm sure I have plenty of valuable info for fellow prospectors here as well.
