Hello from North Central CT

Great site with a wealth of information! Getting back into the hobby after a very long hiatus. Started detecting back in 1980's with a Garrett American S3. Never found much, but then really didn't put in the time. Retirement is coming up in a few years and after binge watching shows like Diggers and Oak Island the bug is back. Santa is leaving a Garret AT pro under the tree this Christmas and I'm looking forward to Spring time when the snow melts here in Ct and I can get back to it. In the meantime I'm having a great time and gaining knowledge from all of you. Looking forward to sharing as well.

Welcome to the forum from Virginia! Now's the time to get the research in for the places you want to take that detector to hunt. Good time to make lists, hunt down who owns properties that may require permissions and get you and your equipment ready for spring. And of course, there's plenty of reading to do here. Good Luck!
