Hi all Drew here
I've been metal detecting for about five years however last year I got very ill after I had a heart attack and I stopped doing metal detecting but I'm now feeling good enough to get out there this year very soon. I've always owned Garret and I'm still using my old gtax 1250. I'm involved with most of the outdoors hobbies; fishing, camping, hiking, knife collecting, and metal detecting, etc. if you operate a gtax 1250 I'm up for chat or if not I'm still up for chat anyways lol. I'm not an expert with the metal detector and with my machine as much as I've used it I feel like I'm ok. I'm also using a Whites bullseye 140mm pointer and I'm quite happy with it. Here's a pic of my machine, pointer, and black and decker trowel which seems to cut through roots good enough to get to the coins.
