I found this some years ago just out of Rome Ga. on the Al. line, no other artifacts of any type. It is stone of some type, with an iron content, but not enough to set off a metal detector, it is real heavy and has a perfect concave on the bottom. I'll take all the help I can get on this one.




I showed this to some folks in the Dep. of Archives and History, they had no idea, so here it is to the world of artifact collectors.
