Help ID old Duck Head (I think) button

Dug this old button on a confederate CW campsite. It looks like an old duck head, or O'Bryan's button but it doesn't have any lettering on it. It has an iron shank on the back of it. Can anyone help out with an ID and an age for it? Thanks!

Nice find.

It does appear be a duck head and an O’Bryans but I’m no expert. Is it possible the writing is worn and corroded off? Doesn’t appear to be much info out there on these. Looks like they were a company in the mid-late 1800s. There’s another thread on here about another duck head button
