It appears to be bone

I haven't cleaned it up yet to be able to see

So it is definitely bone and I can see a few very faint marks but only at the beginning of the hole. It also has a few marks that look like cut marks on the outside.

It looks drilled to me. Hole is too large for a bead I'd think. Hmmm..... Gary

Are you positive it's Bone? It looks like Stone in the pictures. Either way, it is most likely a Bead if it is indeed an artifact.

I found it in a local River on a sandbar which is notorious for artifacts.
